Bostik’s Consumer & Construction Division recently hired Brian Day as market manager, ceramic nstallation systems. In this position, he will draw on his 10 years of industry management experience and hands-on skills to supervise the complete product lifecycles of Bostik’s entire ceramic installation line.

“Brian’s keen understanding of how to make, market and distribute ceramic installation products will surely help Bostik maintain its standard for excellence and gain further market share,” said Scott Banda, Bostik’s North American marketing manager. “We’re fortunate to have someone with such a concentrated background in ceramic installation to lead this product line.”

Until joining Bostik, Day managed and developed ceramic installation products for 10 years for Fla.-based MAPEI Corporation. That work, combined with residential construction experience, gives him vast knowledge of mortars, grouts, colorants, caulks, adhesives, crack isolation, waterproofing, sound reduction membranes and other installation-related products.

Further contributing to Day’s management skill level is his education. He earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from University of Illinois and holds an M.B.A. from Strayer University. Day proudly supports Habitat for Humanity and Habitat Restore. For this new position at Bostik, Day will soon relocate to Milwaukee.
