Dallas—Informa Exhibitions announced the introduction of the TISE Booth Crawl Challenge at The International Surface Event (TISE) 2015, being held Jan. 20-23 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The Booth Crawl Challenge provides attendees with a fun way to explore the expansive show floor, which covers 350,000 square feet in five halls, by visiting participating exhibitors and show features along the way. The first 500 attendees who complete the Booth Crawl Challenge using either a play card or the mobile app will receive a commemorative TISE 2015 t-shirt.

Attendees can participate by picking up a play card at Registration on Level 1 or by downloading the free TISE mobile app.

Booth Crawl Challenge participants include American Express (B2308), Bellota (B2515), Houzz (B2839), Kane Carpets (S6741), Marble Institute of America (B848), Marmomacc Stone Academy (B964), MoldingsOnline.com (B2361), National Tile Contractors Association (B3825), Product Marketplace (Bayside Lobby, Level 1), Snap ‘N Share Studio (B2844), Wagner Meters (B3366) and World Floor Covering Association (S6682).

Attendees who visit all 11 stops are required to drop off their completed card or show proof of completion on the mobile app at the Show Office on Level 3 to receive their t-shirts.

“We have seen consistent increases in use of the TISE mobile app since introducing it in 2013,” said Amie Gilmore, CEM, director of TISE. “The industry demand is clearly there and the technology keeps getting more sophisticated and user-friendly. It’s a functional tool for maximizing the show floor experience—from searching for exhibitor locations on the show floor, to mapping the quickest route to get from one point to another and helping to easily schedule time at the show. It’s an additional service we can offer attendees to make their show experience even more productive.”

Other mobile app features include a calendar, show hours, floor plan, the master education schedule and information on local restaurants, entertainment and attractions in Las Vegas.
