Billings, Mont.—This week Pierce Flooring & Design is celebrating Jon Pierce’s 50th anniversary with the company. He started with Pierce when he was just 16 years old back when the company was an “experienced” car lot in downtown Billings. Pierce has had many positions within the company, including car lot attendant, carpet barn store manager, marketing and advertising, and Bozeman Flooring Store manager. He also opened and managed the Missoula Flooring Store. Currently, he is the general manager of the flooring division, which encompasses seven locations across Montana.
Pierce attended Billings Senior High School and Montana State University. His grandfather was George Pierce, founder of the Pierce family company and is the cousin to Ron Pierce, current company president. Jon Pierce enjoys spending his free time fishing, golfing, traveling and has a passion for photography. He is married to Kathy Pierce with three sons, one daughter, three daughter-in-laws and three grandchildren.
Jon Pierce has been willing to move wherever his expertise was needed to fill a gap. His knowledge and leadership has been a great asset for Pierce in many different capacities.
