WASHINGTON—The North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) has unveiled its new website and blog at nalfa.com. The site features an entirely new look and feel, ease of navigation and simplicity in design, making it an educational and helpful resource for consumers who are in the laminate floor buying process, noted Bill Dearing, NALFA’s president.
“We wanted our new site to be very consumer-centric,” he explained. “Buying a laminate floor can be a daunting task for both new and repeat buyers, and we want to help.” Information about laminate flooring construction, sustainability, the value of the NALFA certification seal and DIY tips are all showcased on the site. Additional highlights include: detailed installation videos in both English and Spanish; certified installer locator with ZIP code entry; NALFA member and associate member bios, and photos of NALFA-certified products.
“We built the site from the ground up with a focus on simplicity,” Dearing said. “Consumers can easily find NALFA-certified products, link directly to member sites, watch installation videos, locate a certified installer, and learn more about our organization and what we rep- resent.” Members, associate members, retailers and installers also have access to a variety of partner resources. Information like testing procedures, installer certification classes and advertising guidelines can all be found via the new site. Also new is a redesigned blog where readers can link for the latest industry news and organization happenings.
