MILWAUKEE—The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) is cross promoting with CFI’s Installer Week in January by giving its members more with the cost of signing up.

The first 10 CFI installers who register for WFCA membership before Dec. 1 are privy to one year’s membership; two days of laminate and hardwood workshops at ProSource of Milwaukee; free attendance to Installer Day on Jan. 18, and discounts on Duo-Fast products and supplies. The promotional charge is $125, though the total value is worth $760.

Installers who aren’t interested in the hardwood and laminate workshops can register for an additional $100 and receive a $500 credit to be used toward any of the following CFI workshops during Installer Week:

  • Patterned Carpet work- shop on Jan. 17;
  • Inspection or Carpet Estimating workshop;
  • ProSource Installer Day,
  • R-I/C-I or R II/C-II.

“One of the reasons we support CFI is that we are believers in education and getting quality installers in the field,” said Chris Davis, president and CEO, WFCA. “We are all for installers joining CFI, joining the WFCA and taking advantage of the trade scholarship program to further the industry.”

To register, call CFI at 816.231.4646.
