New York—Jennifer Thiele Busch will be leaving Contract magazine, where she served as editor-in-chief since 1999, to become vice president of marketing, A&D for InterfaceFLOR, based in Atlanta. She will assume her new position on April 4.
During her 20-year tenure at Contract, Busch has been instrumental in positioning the magazine and has used her influence to promote design’s important role in the industry and society, focusing the magazine’s content on the value of good design to commercial enterprises with real business goals. In recent years, she has helped drive Contract’s strategic transition from a design magazine into a dynamic design media brand with strength in print, online, and face-to-face platforms.
“Being editor of Contract has been a wonderfully rewarding experience, both professionally and personally,” Busch says. “It has been my great honor and privilege to lead the magazine for the past 10 years, through a period of such rapid and interesting change in the design industry. I look forward to continuing to engage in thought leadership in my new role at InterfaceFLOR.”
