Anaheim, Calif.—The World Flooring Covering Association (WFCA) announced the addition of a new communications partner, Story Partners. The affiliation will further improve WFCA member communications and serve as a resource regarding legislative, regulatory and state level policy and action.

“The WFCA is committed to providing its members with the leadership and resources to advance the industry in the legislative and public policy arenas,” said, Christopher Davis, president and CEO, WFCA. “Having a strategic alliance with an expert and experienced communications firm will further amplify our voice in the issues that affect our industry.”

Story Partners, headquartered in Washington, DC, is one of the nation’s preeminent public affairs firms. Headed by Chairman, Gloria Story Dittus, the Story Partners team has vast experience in public policy campaigns, advertising, grassroots, social media, issue management and coalition development. By utilizing innovative new media strategies, Story Partners will work to expand the offerings of the WFCA to its member companies.

“We are thrilled to be working with the WFCA,” said Gloria Story Dittus, “and look forward to assisting their membership unify their message on important issues.”

Story Partners will also provide real‐time monitoring of federal and state legislative and regulatory action in order to keep the WFCA and its members up‐to‐date on the important issues facing the industry. In the current political and economic environment, the WFCA is facing a variety of issues on all levels ranging from small business to lead paint to environmental.

Through this new communications campaign the WFCA will optimize the effectiveness of its outreach to its large membership base, and leverage its collective strength to be a formidable voice in these issues.
