Spencerville, OH – It is with great sadness that the Moeller family announces that board chairman and CEO of Flexible Foam, Charles D. Moeller, passed away on January 8, 2013. He was 85 years old.

Mike Crowell, vice president of marketing, issued the following statement on behalf of the board: “The board of directors have in place a thorough succession and leadership plan. We are pleased to announce that the company will continue under the leadership of Mr. Rich Whitling, a 40-year industry veteran with Flexible Foam. As chief operating officer of the company, Mr. Whitling will work diligently with his management team to carry on the successful company founded by Mr. Moeller.”

Rich Whitling, speaking on behalf of the company, said, “The entire organization mourns our loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Moeller family. Chuck’s legacy will live on. He was an industry pioneer and visionary. We salute his many professional and personal accomplishments.”
