Verona, Va. – Personna, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality carpet blades and bladed tools, will introduce a new line of blades at Surfaces, in Las Vegas, Jan. 29 to 31, 2013. Introductions include ArmorEdge carpet blades, which raise the bar for sharpness and durability, and the all new White Lightning aluminum fixed blade carpet knife.

Recognized as the leader in specialty blades and bladed tools, Personna’s carpet blades and knives push the boundaries of blade technology to new heights. Living up to a 135-year tradition of quality and innovation, the new ArmorEdge carpet blades are the sharpest and most durable ever made by Personna.

According to Bob Senesac, director of marketing, Personna Industrial, one of the exciting product innovations the company is introducing for 2013 is the re-design of a 20-year old classic, the fixed blade carpet knife. “We gave this carpet knife a complete makeover, with a new design, that delivers all the features the pro end user wants. With an all-aluminum body, in handle blade storage and fast blade changes, customers will see our new knife along with the latest in cutting-edge blade technology,” said Senesac.

In addition, Senesac will announce the hiring of Robert Varden as Personna sales manager for carpet sales. “In addition to Robert’s reputation for excellence and his long history of training thousands of professional carpet installers over the years through his association with Certified Floorcovering Installers, we are pleased to have him in the Personna fold as a product consultant and sales lead for one of the foundations of our business. I can think of no one better to represent the Personna brand than Robert.”

Representatives from Personna will be on hand aturfaces Booth #S7749 to demonstrate its new ArmorEdge carpet blades and the all new White Lightning aluminum fixed blade carpet knife.
