Sally Smith

Sugar Valley, Ga.—As director of brand development, Sally Smith will be taking Karastan Rugs and American Rug Craftsmen brands in new directions.

“My goal is to get consumers excited about our products, especially with the new energy we have in Karastan Rugs and American Rug Craftsmen brands,” Smith said. “You will see in the coming months great designs, trendy colors and collections that communicate to our loyal customer base while also reaching out to a new buyer as well. We have a strong story to tell—being a manufacturer with brands firmly planted in the USA—and I am eager to tell it.”

Smith brings several years of experience in developing highly effective targeted product and marketing solutions: brand voice and strategy, advertising, marketing and promotions, direct mail and promotional specialty pieces.

Previously, she was art director for Surya and Idea Associates, creative director for Coldwell Banker Builder Developer Services and has worked in ad agencies specializing in real estate, healthcare, home décor and home textiles.
