Miami—Tile of Spain recently announced its annual Passport to Creativity contest offering three architects and interior designers a chance to win a free trip to Spain to participate in an architectural excursion. On the trip, winners will earn CEU credits and visit Cevisama 2014, the Inter-national Ceramic Tile and Bath Furnishing Show in Valencia, Spain.
In order to participate, architects and interior designers must submit pictures of themselves with a Spanish tile catalog, picture or sample. The idea is to be creative and have fun, noted Rocamador Rubio Gomez, representative for Tile of Spain.
“This is the second year we’ve run the Passport to Creativity contest,” she said. “It has been quite enjoyable to see the inventive photos architects and designers submit to the contest. We can’t wait to see the creativity in this year’s entries.”
The Tile of Spain 2014 Passport to Creativity Tour, running Feb. 9 to Feb. 15, includes “time to explore Spain,” Rubio Gomez explained, “to be immersed in the culture, sample its world-famous culinary arts, observe numerous sites and attractions with architectural and design significance and to gain a general understanding and appreciation for Spain.”
The trip includes a guided visit to Cevisama 2014, factory and booth tours and a press conference.
Entries will be accepted through Dec. 3, and winners will be notified during the week of Dec. 10.
