Kennesaw, Ga.—Invista has rolled out a new Stainmaster product aimed at pet owners.
 The product, called PetProtect, is a carpet and cushion system that is designed to resist pet stains and aids in vacuuming pet hair.
 The cushion incorporates a unique moisture barrier that keeps stains from soaking into the cushion and subfloor, the company said.

The carpet is made with solution-dyed nylon 6,6 fiber.
