Joe Reddington

Dallas—Mohawk Hard Surfaces/Unilin named industry veteran Joe Reddington as its new director of national accounts and business development. “A recent promotion within our organization opened up this key leadership position,” said Jamie Byrne, senior vice president, Mohawk Hard Surfaces. “Correctly filling this opening required finding an extremely talented professional, who possesses a proven track record in sales, has well-honed leadership skills and is tenacious in the pursuit of excellence. We have found just that person—Joe Reddington.”

“Joe’s experience and knowledge will allow him to hit the ground running and begin excelling immediately within our organization, developing new business and providing exceptional service to our national account customers,” said Bob Leahy, senior vice president Unilin sales. “Joe is very professional with a keen sense of competition and excellence.”

Reddington brings over 30 years of experience in the floor covering industry and decades of contacts to his new role.  He has a record of leadership and proven sales achievement from his most recent ten years serving as the western division sales manager with floor covering distributor BPI and from a previous decade working for Armstrong, serving as their national sales/distribution manager.

During his career in the flooring industry, Reddington has also served in several important leadership roles, such as:  founding member of the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA), technical director of the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), and vice president of the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD).

“Joe is a respected veteran of the flooring industry with a wealth of experience and knowledge,” said Patrick Warren, regional vice president for the South Central region of Mohawk’s Hard Surfaces division.  “His business acumen is second to none and eclipsed only by his drive for results.  Joe knows the industry and he knows how to sell product and satisfy customers.”

Reddington will office at the Mohawk Hard Surfaces/Unilin headquarters in Dallas, Texas, reporting to Byrne and Leahy.
