Spartanburg, S.C. — Two Milliken floor covering collections, Art Media and Moment, have received a Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum in conjunction with The European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.

The awards program honors good design across multiple categories, including materials, technology, branding and graphic arts, among others.

The Art Media Collection, designed by Cresta Bledsoe, is a library of patterns that reinterpret art techniques including charcoal, chalk, graphite, action painting, drip painting, and the optical illusions of Op Art.

The Moment Collection, designed by Kristin Gruenefeld, was influenced by the concept of ‘art in memory.’
