Fontana, Calif. — Elegance Fine Wood Flooring has appointed Michael Hester vice president of sales. Hester comes to the company after 25 years in the furniture industry.
“After another year of solid double-digit growth, we found it necessary to hire an individual to focus 100% of his time on the flooring industry,” said Rob Hoffman, executive vice president of sales and marketing for New Classic Furniture and Elegance Wood Flooring. “We looked inside and outside the industry for the right person that would fit the needs of Elegance, and Michael was the clear choice for the job.”
Hester has worked for major furniture companies such as RTG, Harverty’s, La-Z-Boy and Ashley Industries. “Michael brings a wealth of knowledge to Elegance in selling, management and strategic thinking,” Hoffman said. “He has been extremely successful at everything he touches, and we know he will be the person to continue to drive the growth that we are experiencing at Elegance.”
