Farnham, Quebec — Gilles de Beaumont, president of Tarkett Canada, will step down effective March 28, the company said.

de Beaumont served for 42 years with Tarkett, starting in 1972 at Domcor Service Center in Ottawa. de Beaumont held a number of critical roles for Tarkett including Domcor sales representative; director of Canada distribution operations; general manager, president of Domcor; president of Domco Inc USA; president of Tarkett Commercial; president of Azrock USA; and most recently president of Tarkett Canada.

“Gilles has had a number of successes but should be most proud of his dedication and commitment to winning. We thank Gilles for his flexibility and willingness to help the organization,” said Jeff Fenwick, president and COO, Tarkett North America. “We will miss Gilles’ leadership, experience and deep market knowledge.”
