Chesterfield, Mo.—The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) has sent a letter to Congress in support of The Resilient Federal Forests Act of 2015 (H.R. 2647).

If implemented, the act would give managers of federal lands the tools to improve forest resiliency through active management and collaboration. In addition to the NWFA, the letter was signed by 58 other wood industry associations.

The NWFA is also encouraging members to send copies of the letter with a personal note to their representatives before the bill is debated in the House of Representatives in August.
