Tandus Centiva ethos improves performance and well-being

HomePress ReleaseTandus Centiva ethos improves performance and well-being

Dalton—Tandus Centiva, a Tarkett company, improves the performance and well-being of a space with a time-tested material called ethos. In 2004, Tandus Centiva was the first to harness the PVB film in windshields and safety glass, creating an alternative to traditional carpet backing polymers.

Through recent innovation, ethos Modular now has the ability to stand up to subfloor conditions of 15 lbs. MVER, 98% RH and 11.0pH when installed using TandusTape+, enhancing its performance in interior spaces. With TandusTape+TM, installation is free-lay, long lasting and lower emitting than traditional wet-applied adhesives.

The ingredients in ethos have been assessed rigorously by a third-party to verify it contains no carcinogens, mutagens, or reproductive toxins. In addition, Tandus Centiva does not add antimicrobial treatments, so the air in a space can start clean and stay clean. In 2014, ethos became Cradle to Cradle Certified Silver v3.0.
