Sherbrooke, Quebec—American Biltrite’s rubber flooring products, ABPURE and Marathon, have been awarded Red List Free status, which is part of the Living Building Challenge Declare program.

“This is the single most important step towards materials transparency and toxic chemical avoidance both of which have emerged as crucial factors in product selection for architect and designers,” said Jean-Pierre Benoit, vice president & general manager. “The Declare program frees specifiers from conducting elaborate and time-consuming research in order to find the ‘right’ product.”

American Biltrite further demonstrates its market leadership in the growing movement towards product transparency and toxic chemical avoidance.
