Kennesaw, Ga.—Invista has promoted Kip Kimball to vice president of global commercial solutions and home textiles. In this expanded capacity, Kimball will lead the Antron and Dacron branded businesses, while developing new business opportunities, with a focus on transformative value creation to meet the needs of our customers and ever-changing markets.

“Kimball will continue to drive a strong customer focus for the brands,” said Maggie Bidlingmaier, vice president, surfaces at Invista. “His skills and experience complement and enhance Invista’s ability to meet the needs of our customers as we continue to provide quality, differentiated solutions to the marketplace.”

Kimball has been a strategic leader at Invistafor the past eight years. Most recently, he has been leading Dacron and Automotive businesses as well as Antron sales leadership. During his first five years at Invistahe held various positions within InvistaEngineering Polymers. Prior to joiningInvista, Kimball spent five years working at Ford Motor Co., where he spent time in marketing and sales finance, cross-vehicle innovation and program platforms.
