Toronto—Torlys, a global flooring company specializing in responsible flooring solutions, donated nearly $12,000 to The Trilogy Foundation, a non-profit organization aiding families and communities affected by tragedy, disaster and poverty.

The funds were raised as part of a joint partnership with two of Canada’s leading flooring stores—End of the Roll and Floors Now—on the Trilogy RigidWood collection, a Torlys product that donates $0.10 for every square foot sold at End Of The Roll and Floors Now stores to The Trilogy Foundation.

“The Torlys team is very proud to have worked on this program in support of The Trilogy Foundation, and we are all pleased that they donated $30,000 (which includes our contribution) to food banks across Canada to support our collective COVID-19 relief efforts,” said Jason Walker, regional sales manager Ontario & national accounts. “We are looking forward to expanding the scope of products available in The Trilogy RigidWood collection, and hope to increase our next donation by offering other alternative flooring options for Canadian consumers through our partners with End of the Roll and Floors Now.”

Established in 2018, The Trilogy Foundation serves communities nationwide by restoring physical structures and reviving a sense of hope to those impacted, in large part thanks to its funding by End of the Roll and Floors Now along with their supplier partners—now including Torlys, the company said.

“The Trilogy Foundation aims to recognize the need in our communities during times of tragedy, natural disaster and poverty,” said Ron Persley, executive director of franchise operations at End of the Roll. “Through the efforts of End of the Roll, Floors Now and Torlys, several food banks across the country received donations to help those families struggling, especially those that have been affected by this awful pandemic. We look forward to helping more people at their time of need and appreciate the efforts from all of those involved from the participating companies.”
