COREtec Stone

Dalton—COREtec the Original is introducing new colors and innovations to give consumers more options. The company will also launch three new colors in its COREtec Stone platform.

Of the new Original innovations, John Crews, director of product design for COREtec, said, “The industry was revolutionized when COREtec The Original was introduced—the first Waterproof Foamed Core (WPC) flooring technology to deliver exceptional style with 100% waterproof, kid-proof and pet-proof performance. In 2020, we’re expanding on this style element with product innovation through our newly innovated, enhanced integrated bevels. These subtle plank enhancements provide that distinguished design is in the details.”

Current Original collection updates include:

  • COREtec Plus HD with Enhanced Integrated Bevels: Embossed-in-register technology and enhanced integrated bevels on a WPC core bring these high-styled visuals to life. The plank definition is available in five design and species blends: Blended Umber, Blended Caraway, Blended Sienna, Blended Praline and Blended Cocoon. These wood blends celebrate bold natural expressions by drawing inspiration from various types of wood and building materials. Each color is offered in 7 x 48 x 8mm.
  • COREtec Plus 5-inch: For 2021, three new colors are added to the COREtec Plus 5-inch collection: Ashton Woods Oak, Baywood Oak, Bodwell Oak. Each of these are offered in 5 x 48 x 8mm. The color additions rejuvenate and contemporize the current COREtec construction offering. Calming oaks in neutral tones offer subtle variation in a linear style that is complementary to the narrow plank aesthetic.

The company will also launch three new colors in its COREtec Stone platform. The product collection is waterproof, crack-proof, indentation-proof and easy to install.

The three new colors complement the existing 18 x 24 and 18 x 36 formats:

  • 18 x 24: The brand is adding two color additions to its most popular style: Lucetta and Ambienta. Lucetta is a travertine visual that embraces the neutral tones of the most popular colors, which is said to allow it to coordinate well in nearly any space. Ambienta is more golden, a color unavailable anywhere else in the COREtec Stone collection.
  • 18” x 36”: This platform introduces yet another option for consumers in a concrete look. Sirius is a balanced visual that is designed to provide a unique feel to any floor and pair extremely well in the larger size.
