Lancaster, Pa.—Armstrong Flooring introduced three new heterogeneous sheet collections, Asana, Nidra and Zenscape. Each collection is manufactured in Stillwater, Okla., and includes Diamond 10 Technology, a patented wear layer that uses cultured diamonds to provide the ultimate in scratch, stain and scuff resistance while eliminating the need for polish. Additionally, each collection features reinforced layers for protection from rips, tears and gouges, according to the company.
Asana, Nidra and Zenscape are all available in multiple widths—6, 9 and 12-foot rolls—to provide installation and design flexibility, reducing the number of seams in corridors, under patient beds and in large open areas.
“Armstrong Flooring has a strong legacy in healthcare and these products are engineered to specifically support healing environments and their unique requirements,” said Yon Hinkle, vice president, product innovation, Armstrong Flooring. “We’re proud of the design and performance achievements in this newest sheet product. By manufacturing this heterogeneous sheet product domestically, this is an excellent example of our transformation strategy coming to life by optimizing our manufacturing footprint and strengthening domestic supply.”
