Bill StoreyFollowing is an announcement from T.M. Nuckols, Jr., president, TDG Residential, regarding the addition of Bill Storey to The Dixie Group:

I am pleased to announce the addition of Bill Storey to The Dixie Group, effective April 1, 2022. Storey joins TDG as regional vice president of sales for the Midwest region. His region will extend from Wisconsin to Ohio in the North to Northern Mississippi and Northern Alabama in the South. He will be responsible for driving growth and share gain in all brands and all segments of our business. As it is with our current RVPs, Storey will also have input into our product development, marketing and sales strategies.

Storey is a well known, highly respected and very talented leader in our industry. He spent the last two years with Empower Partners, focused on training and coaching flooring industry professionals. Prior to that, he spent 33 years with Karastan, starting as a territory manager before being promoted through several leadership positions, ultimately to senior vice president of fashion brands for Mohawk. Storey brings a wealth of knowledge and a very good understanding of the high-end residential market. And he brings very strong relationships with many high-end retailers in the Midwest region and across North America.

At The Dixie Group, we believe our greatest advantage is our people, and we are committed to investing in talent that will strengthen our organization. With the sale of our commercial business last year, and the change in home center strategies going forward, TDG is now completely focused on driving growth in the specialty retail and designer channels. We have the best high-end sales force in the high-end residential business. As we look to onboard additional sales talent to support our growth strategies, the addition of Storey makes us an even stronger organization and will allow our entire team of sales leaders to provide an increased level of focus at the territory and customer level.

I am excited that Storey has decided to join TDG. He is a perfect fit for our culture and his reputation in the industry is very good. I am confident he will help us continue our strong performance in the high end retail and designer channels.
