Sugar Valley, Ga.—Karastan Rugs is celebrating the start of High Point Market with a weekend of events featuring well-known designers. Karastan Rugs said it invites High Point market attendees to kickstart the weekend in their destination showroom with an intimate conversation with Drew and Jonathan Scott and “House Beautiful.”
“The Karastan Rugs showroom is a focal point of High Point Market,” said Bart Hill, senior vice president of product development and operations, Mohawk Home.”Our showroom features beautiful, curated pieces and sought-after events that feature influential designers. We work closely with each designer to ensure their collections are truly representative of their style, so hosting an intimate event where Drew and Jonathan can explain their thoughts behind the designs feels like the natural next step.”
Taking inspiration from every step of their design journeys, celebrity television personalities and designers Drew and Jonathan Scott said they partnered with Karastan Rugs to create multiple collections with every consumer in mind. During a lively and interactive conversation, “House Beautiful”’s Hadley Keller will speak with Drew and Jonathan Scott about feeling your best at home and the inspiration behind their new Karastan Rug collections: Kasbah, Sirocco and Paloma.
About the collections
The Sirocco collection features three rugs with transitionally inspired geometric linework in neutral color palettes that perfectly accent any room, according to the company.
The Kasbah collection features seven new rugs with a wide variety of style influences. From contemporary Southwestern inspired designs, abstract diamond and color block designs and transitional stripes.
The Paloma collection features five rugs, created with dependable and durable fibers and a handwoven texture in a variety of colors such as black, blue, green, grey and pearl shades.
Karastan Rugs said it invites High Point Market attendees to join Drew and Jonathan and Keller on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m. in its showroom (D-443) for a lively and interactive conversation on feeling your best at home. After the conversation, there will be a question-and-answer session and cocktail hour to follow. Early attendance is encouraged, as this event has limited capacity.
