Jan 30 2021In addition to the Natural Collection, Exclusive and Character grades with the DuraMatt® finish are Maple Smooth and the Red Oak Brushed. White Oak R&Q, Hickory and Walnut species, now available with a brushed texture, are also making their way into this collection. The 7 3/4″ width is also available on Maple, Red Oak and White Oak. These prized species combined with DuraMatt®'s mate finish emphasize the purest look while reminding us of a return to basics.

TruBalance Technology
Jan 30 2021Mirage has set the pace once more and is ready to push boundaries again with TruBalance! TruBalance is designed with a unique core technology of real wood top layer over quarter sawn SPF (Spruce/Pine/Fir) fingers. TruBalance technology has many benefits to offer, including unmatched stability, ease of installation, peace of mind and a wide variety of trendy colors. Presenting the best features of each platform, it is 3/4’’ thick like the Classic technology, an increased stability over traditional Engineered technology, and has the floating installation capability of the Lock technology. Mirage TruBalance can be nailed, stapled, glued or floated over a wood or concrete subfloor. It can be used on, above, and below grade, including over a radiant heat system. Cautious of tree life cycles, SPF grows faster than hardwood, making TruBalance an environmentally responsible approach. Adding to this, it is made of a mix of wood components and the SPF is locally sourced. Already tested and approved in the market for many years, retailers and installers appreciate this product for its versatility, performance, and lightness which greatly facilitates their day-to-day work. Its innovative 3-ply structure is adaptable for many installation environments and brings peace of mind to customers. The TruBalance technology is available in the Flair, Sweet Memories, Imagine, Admiration and Natural Collections in 5’’, 6-1/2’’, and 7 -3/4’’ widths. There is a choice of Cashmere®* or DuraMatt® finish depending on the collection. It is also available in Herringbone 5’’ with 30’’ long boards.
