Hong Kong — Duane Morris, an international law firm specializing in intellectual property (IP), served Bostik a cease and desist letter for potentially infringing GTP International’s trademarked Gecko Logo.

GTP International has owned the Gecko Logo since 2011, utilizing it in the marketing of its double-‐sided Gecko Tape and Gecko Glue brands. Bostik recently incorporated a gecko visual in the marketing of its Smart Adhesives campaign.

GTP International’s CEO David Reichwein, the inventor and manufacturer of FreeFit LVT, said his company will continue to invest heavily in R&D, intellectual property (IP) and the enforcement of its IP rights through every legitimate legal channel available.
