Vancouver, Wash.—The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has invited all materially interested parties to recommend candidates for the 15 available positions on the IICRC Board of Directors.

Successful candidates will serve a one, two, or three-year term that starts following this year’s Board meeting, which takes place October 16 and 17 here. Recommendations are open to anyone who has interest in the inspection, cleaning and restoration industry and meets the qualifications outlined in the recommendation form. All recommendations will be considered and responded to.

The IICRC Board of Directors meets four times per year and is tasked with the responsibility of helping shape the future policies of the organization and uphold the standards that help shape the industry. Additionally, directors must be compliant with the IICRC organizational documents, ethics and conflict of interest and confidentiality policies, other regulations and policies of the IICRC, and the IICRC Commitment Pledge.

Qualifications for directors include, but are not limited to, knowledge of the IICRC; an interest and willingness to work on the activities and development of the organization, and for the goals of the organization; and, knowledge, understanding, experience, education or training in the cleaning, inspection, restoration, remediation, floor covering, textile, or upholstery industries as they relate to the IICRC.
