JOHNSON CITY, TENN.—As part of its year-long 25th anniversary celebration, Mullican Flooring has launched an interactive, consumer-driven website.

Brian Greenwell, Mullican’s vice president of sales and marketing, said the new site features improved maneuverability for locating products and also provides valuable consumer education about hardwood floors. Visitors can select products based on color, flooring type, species or by browsing Mullican’s 23 wood flooring lines.

In addition, the site’s Designer’s Oasis section offers tips for designing a room and selecting a color scheme, and consumers can determine their design style via an online questionnaire.

“We wanted to build a consumer-driven website that would be an easy-to-understand guide in terms of choosing floors as part of a decorating scheme or concept,” Greenwell said.

Other features on the site include installer instructions, frequently asked questions and a floor care guide. Visitors also can learn about the company’s history, and the Green Zone section details Mullican’s pioneering efforts in forest sustainability.
