Dalton —Engineered Floors announced that James Lesslie, most recently COO of the nation’s third largest carpet manufacturer, Beaulieu of America, has joined the company as assistant to the chairman.

In this newly created role, Lesslie will be collaborating with chairman, Robert Shaw. “James will [also] work with our senior management team on growth and strategic directions for our company,” commented Shaw, who began Engineered Floors in 2009.

Lesslie has over 30 years experience in the carpet industry in a variety of roles in operations, product development, sales, and marketing. “Engineered Floors is growing and has an exciting future,” said Lesslie. “Its PureColor solution dyed polyester fiber has quickly become the standard for superior soil and fade-resistance and is the fastest growing carpet fiber in the industry.”
