Dear Valued Engineered Floors Customer:

The recovery we are experiencing in the soft floorcovering business has put unexpected pressure on raw materials.  As a result of these increases for all raw materials related to the manufacturing of residential carpet, Engineered Floors must increase pricing on all products effective with orders on Saturday, March 3, 2013 and shipments on Sunday, March 24, 2013.  These increases will average from 5 to 8 % on all products.

These increases are needed to continue the investment in the most advanced state of the art equipment that you have come to expect from Engineered Floors.  Customer preference for the benefits of our solution dyed Purecolor polyester carpet continues to grow.  We anticipate a strong year of growth in 2013 and have additional capacity coming on line this year to meet that increase in demand.

Your Engineered Floors sales representative will be contacting you soon to update your pricing.  We thank you for continued support of Engineered Floors and look forward to a mutually successful.

Sincerely,

Clay Shaw, vice president of sales & marketing
