Gilford Flooring recently held  its annual  Gilford Advantage Partners (GAP) award banquet and sale “Pride in America, A Salute to Our Military” from March 7 to 8, 2013. Over 300 people attended and as a result of the success of “Pride In America,” Gilford donated $2,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).

WWP is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. WWP serves to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women; help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs. WWP seeks to assist those men and women of our armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world.

“On behalf of our GAP dealers, we are so pleased and blessed to be able to donate $2,000 to this organization,” said Dennis Cook, president of Gilford. “This is just a small example of Gilford’s appreciation of our veterans.”
