Salem, N.J. — On April 25, 2013, Mannington Mills participated in the national “Take Your Child to Work Day” and hosted a day of activities and learning for the children of its associates. Kids learned about chromatography in the lab, and performed some of their own experiments (they even made “slime”), and heard about the various job functions in finance, marketing, and product development. In the afternoon, they were treated to a nature walk and viewed Mannington’s own Purple Martin houses as well as the honeybee colony.
A good time was had by all, and children got a unique view of all the different parts of Mannington.
