Maui, Hawaii – Retail members of the National Floorcovering Alliance (NFA) named David Snedeker, divisional merchandise manager of Nebraska Furniture Mart, as its new president. He will officially take over duties from outgoing president Phil Koufidakis of Baker Bros. on Jan. 1.
Snedeker told FCNews he was “honored and humbled” to be chosen for the position by the 42 retail members that make up the NFA. “It is a big job but I am really looking forward to the challenge and continuing the great success we’ve had here.” Jason McSwain, president of McSwain Carpets & Floors, based in Cincinnati, was named vice president of the group.
The fall conference continue through Wednesday here at the Fairmont Kea Lani.
