Shaw launches papal carpet giveaway

HomeCategoriesCarpetShaw launches papal carpet giveaway

Dalton—Shaw Floors is offering consumers an opportunity to receive a swatch of the Shaw carpet used on the stage in Philadelphia where Pope Francis conducted the final Mass of his recent trip to the United States.

Shaw is offering a 6 x 6 commemorative swatch of the carpet at shawfloors.com/popecarpet. In exchange, Shaw encourages recipients to make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, although donations are not required. Quantities are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

“We wanted to extend the life of this special carpet,” said Dani Brock, director of retail marketing for Shaw. “There was tremendous demand for the carpet Pope Benedict XVI walked on in 2008 and we wanted to create an opportunity for others to secure a meaningful keepsake from Pope Francis’ visit.”
