Twenty & Oak launches virtual showroom

HomeCOVID-19Twenty & Oak launches virtual showroom

Charleston, S.C.—Twenty & Oak, subsidiary of Southern Diversified Distributors, recently launched an interactive online flooring showroom that allows consumers to browse flooring displays from the comfort and safety of home.

The virtual showroom was created in response to the government mandated stay-at-home orders due to COVID19. This new feature allows Twenty & Oak flooring retailers to show products to their customers while abiding by social distancing guidelines. The showroom was launched in early April with expansion plans set for May 2020.

“The virtual showroom puts the shop-from-home experience into the hands of local flooring retailers,” said Robert Hagood, president of Twenty & Oak. “They can use the showroom to walk their customers through flooring products as if they were in the store. With the Twenty & Oak virtual showroom, their store is always open. Our team worked tirelessly to launch the virtual showroom only two weeks after the mandated shutdown. We are extremely pleased with the results so far; the number of users has exceeded our expectations.”

Plans to enhance the virtual showroom include videos of Bird sales representatives explaining the features and benefits of each flooring collection. Additionally, every Twenty & Oak retailer receives a unique coupon code for their store that enables their customers to receive free flooring samples on their entire order. Sample orders are shipped to consumers within 48 hours.

“The virtual showroom is open to all William M. Bird customers even if they are not participating in the Twenty & Oak program,” said president of William M. Bird, Gene Corvino. “It is a great tool that enables them to continue selling during these challenging times. The virtual showroom has also been a tremendous resource for our Bird sales representatives to provide product knowledge sessions to customers while they are working from home.”
