Dalton—Taylor Adhesives unveiled “Taylor Time,” a new educational program targeted to the flooring industry. The new program is the company’s latest innovation that aligns with its goal of being a thought and communication leader delivering quality, in-depth training in a variety of ways.

“When the pandemic hit, we were forced to reflect on different ways to connect with our customer base,” said Paul Murfin, president of Taylor. “But we did more than put on a webinar. We developed a new communications approach.”

Seth Gladden, director of marketing and commercial business development for Taylor, said the company designed Taylor Time to offer industry-specific knowledge and training for its customers, their customers and the industry. “Our main focus is adding value and one way we intend to do that is by including respected industry experts and covering a wide range of topics. In an ever changing world we want to uphold our brand promise of being With You Every Step.”

Currently, the Taylor Time platform consists of four key areas: Live (webinar events open to everyone), Partner Exclusive (webinar events for specific groups), News (Taylor newsletter) and Tech (technical bulletins, product information, updates and more).

“We intend to continue expanding this platform as needs arise,” Gladden noted.

Contributing editor and co-host of Taylor Time Live, Robert Varden, executive director of International Certified Flooring Installers (CFI), said, “I really want to applaud Taylor on this new initiative. In the midst of the installer crisis, a pandemic and an industry that seems to be cutting back, it’s truly inspiring to see a company moving forward with a commitment to provide a training and education platform that can provide solutions to the issues we encounter every day.”

Live and Partner Exclusive events will be hosted from the Taylor Technology and Training Center (T3C) located here, now with a studio set with audio, lighting, backdrop and monitors. The company said it has already had several Partner Exclusive training events and has received numerous accolades from its customers.
