Export, Pa.—The U.S. corporate headquarters of leading luxury vinyl supplier, Karndean Designflooring, has been named a Pittsburgh-area “Top Workplace” for the 11th consecutive year by The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“Our employees have always been, and will always be, our greatest asset,” said Bill Anderson, CEO, Karndean. “While we’ve grown considerably since our humble beginnings in the U.S. in 1998, our corporate culture retains the feel of the small, family-owned company that we started as in Pittsburgh more than 20 years ago. We’re fortunate to have many of these early U.S.-based employees with us on staff still today—a testament to the level of company pride and quality of relationships developed amongst our team.”

According to the company, its corporate headquarters houses office personnel, warehouse and production department employees, a distribution center and a showroom that is open to the public weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST. Currently, Karndean employs 84 full-time employees at the Pittsburgh location and 185 full-time employees nationwide. The company has two other U.S.-based offices and distribution centers in Fort Worth and Las Vegas.

The annual Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey, administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools, according to the company. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of company culture, including alignment, execution and connection; in addition to benefits, pay and flexibility.

A complete list of Pittsburgh’s Top Workplaces can be accessed through The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
