Scranton, Pa.—More than 250 dealers, designers, retailers and contractors came out for Arley Wholesale’s 8th annual stone and tile exhibition held here at the Lackawanna Station Radisson. The newest designs in porcelain, stone and glass tile were set in displays for the distributor’s 1,600 East Coast customers.

“We showcase products and market display ideas on how to sell tile in almost every way possible,” said Scott Levy, executive vice president of operations. “We do a lot of the research for them and hand-select products that sell in this region. Our customers simply circle what interests them on a detailed floor plan and we follow up within 24 hours. Arley is invested in their success.”

According to Arley executives, the exhibit is an extension of the service, selection and stability it provides its members. It aims to blur the line between family, employee, supplier and customer.

“People buy from people,” said Jeff Halasy, owner of Renaissance Ceramic Tile & Marble in Horsham, Pa. “Arley Wholesale is a family run business that is well known for its partnership approach. They select the right products, develop the right programs and give us the support we need to go beyond the showroom. In the end it’s all about people, products and service and Arley is very good at it.”
