Rome, Ga.—Jim Nielsen, a 30-year flooring industry veteran, has been named vice president of distributor sales for Foss Floors.
Prior to Shaw Industries’ purchase of USFloors, Nielsen conceived and implemented the launch of the Fusion brand, which was how USFloors went to market through distribution. He also currently serves on the board of directors for the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors.
With Nielsen’s wealth of knowledge and experience, Foss Floors is confident he will be a perfect fit with the team. “We look forward to the growth in business that we know Jim can bring to the table,” said Mike DeGrace, Foss Floors president.
Nielsen will report directly to Sam Ruble, vice president of sales.
