Stafford, TexasRedi Carpet has acquired Seagull Floors, a multi-family flooring contractor with locations in Atlanta, Ga.; Dallas, Texas; Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham and Winston-Salem, N.C., and Tampa, Fla.

The acquisition makes a strong contribution to Redi Carpet’s overall growth strategy. “We continue to grow our company so that we are properly positioned to support all of our customer’s nationally,” said Greg Waleke, CEO.  “Seagull Floors has a great reputation in the industry and a strong customer base. Like Redi Carpet, they have built a culture around taking care of customers.”

Ken Leadingham, Seagull’s president, thinks it is a perfect fit. “Seagull’s great reputation and its strong relationships with its customers will complement Redi Carpet’s large customer base and wide geographic coverage. Our people are very excited about this opportunity and the potential for the future,” continues Leadingham.

The acquisition will expand Redi Carpet’s coverage to 16 cities in eight states and enable it to offer better programs nationwide through its affiliation with Multi-Family Solutions, a nationwide group of the best multi-family flooring contractors in the country.
