WORCESTERSHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM—To mark the resort’s 25th birthday The Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a four diamond-rated venue that is a popular destination for both business professionals and families,  underwent a complete $20 million renovation to revitalise the interior spaces. Interior design specialist, Ricca Newmark Design, chose Brintons to fulfil the project’s flooring requirements because of the company’s “excellent reputation for delivering great work”.

Brintons was asked to supply premium-quality Axminster carpet that could be installed in the public areas, meeting rooms and ballroom at the new-look Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The concept during the creative design process was to draw on the beauty of the natural surroundings within the Cheyenne Mountain region, by focussing on nature, organic elements and colours. Brintons’ design team worked closely with their counterparts at Ricca Newmark to develop a number of flat design concepts that featured the free flowing organic leaf patterns and branch formations of the white and lavender columbine flower – the official state flower of Colorado.

Some of the pre-function carpet that Brintons had designed and supplied during a previous soft renovation at the hotel was not going to be replaced so Brintons needed to ensure that the newer carpet would compliment and be sensitive to that requirement.

Michelle Maestas, senior designer and hospitality market manager at Ricca Newmark Design said, “The carpets that Brintons supplied are beautiful and do an amazing job at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort. The designs are all very elegant, unique and bring a certain vibrancy and ambience to the individual interior spaces.

“Brintons were amazing to work with. We had a number of obstacles that we needed to overcome during the project and these turned out to be very trying for everyone. Although these issues were not Brintons related, they pulled out all the stops to help us work through them so that we would receive a product that was just what we wanted. It would be nice if all suppliers delivered the same levels of customer service that Brintons do.”
