Bainbridge Island, Wash. –Teragren, a manufacturer of environmentally-friendly bamboo flooring, panels, veneer, and worktops, today announced restructuring in the sales division that places vice president of panel and veneer sales, Paola Rutledge, at the head of the commercial contract division. Teragren’s contract division is designed to provide sustainable solutions to the architectural and design communities through continual product innovation and highly focused sales and customer service support.

“As an artisan craftsman herself, Paola brings strength and insight in wood fabrication to help spearhead new development in the Contract Division,” said Teragren president, Mike Boshart. “Her unique technical skills position her as a valuable resource for our contract customers.”

This refocus integrates sales representation for all Teragren product lines – flooring, panels / veneer and worktops – together under one roof, shifting vice president of flooring division John Austin’s focus from exclusively flooring to the entire Teragren product line.

“This shift will improve coordination between sales vice presidents, and capitalize on John’s strength in distributor relationship management. Taking a stepped approach to integrating product lines among our outside sales team will also allow for improved distributor coordination,” said Boshart.

This move follows on the heels of the announcement last week that Teragren had expanded both its sales and marketing teams with new management hires. “We are committed to developing innovative bamboo products that meet the demand within the design community for sustainable materials,” said Boshart. “These changes are designed to create a unified approach to customer support and coordinated product presentations and will help us better serve our customers.”
