HomeNewsMannington names grand prize winner in Tx:Style Design challenge

Chicago — At the NeoCon World’s Trade Fair recently, Mannington Commercial announced the grand prize winner in its tx:style design challenge. Katie Henry of One Eleven Design in Fort Wayne, Indiana was chosen by public vote from among four finalists.

Her design, Stacked Up, was inspired by stacked stone; translated into carpet, the pattern offers abstract organic shapes in structured layers, in a mix of bold and nature-inspired colors.

More than 100,000 votes were cast online and by visitors to Mannington’s NeoCon showroom in Chicago. As grand prize winner, Henry will travel to the Milan Furniture Fair later this year as Mannington’s guest, as well as earning $7,000 in total prize money and the opportunity to develop a full carpet collection with Mannington’s product development team.

Mannington Commercial offers a wide range of flooring solutions, all from a single point of contact, so its customers need never compromise between styling, performance, sustainability and customer service. The company’s range of choices that work in carpet and hard surface categories is unparalleled, and its sustainability platform is built upon innovative measures to close the recycling loop, reduce waste streams, reuse waste materials and continue its leadership position in energy efficiency. http://manningtoncommercial.com
