Karndean Designflooring expanded its premium Art Select Woods collection by adding eleven new skillfully-crafted designs that replicate natural timber. These new designs add to the versatility and realism that designers, architects and home owners have come to expect from Karndean.
The unique grain details, rich colors and detailed textures in the collection create a style that works for virtually any space, from a country cottage to a contemporary loft. With a 0.7mm wear layer and a 20-year residential, 15-year commercial warranty, the Art Select Woods collection is durable and an ideal choice for high traffic areas.
The Art Select Woods collection will now feature three distinct Cherry colors; Spanish Cherry, Seneca Cherry, and Santina Cherry. The natural luster and silky texture create a strikingly elegant finish. Karndean will expand its deeply textured Hickory collection with the addition of Hickory Almond and Hickory Cinnamon. Both styles are offered in a large plank size with a beveled edge.
Versatility meets style in Karndean’s new Parquet collection. Available in a 9”x 3”plank, Auburn Parquet and Black Parquet offer detailed grains and a gentle texture. Parquet can be laid in a brick, block or herringbone pattern.
In 2013, Karndean will release its one-of-a-kind Maple collection, which consists of various plank widths and lengths. Available in 4”, 5”, and 7” widths and nine different lengths, this collection mimics the dimensional variety found in many hardwood floors. The four colors available are Natural Maple, Coffee Maple, Cajun Maple and Toasted Maple.
“We are very excited about the expansion of our Art Select Wood Collection,” said Michael Lang, senior marketing manager at Karndean Designflooring. “By adding additional colors and designs, as well as diversifying the collection with the new Parquets and the new Maples, we’ve taken our premium woods collection to the next level. We are pleased to be able to deliver on our promise to create innovative, affordable and unique LVT flooring for the design community and retail customers.”
