A new line of Coswick Portable Dance & Events hardwood flooring was made available to the general public following its debut at the 2013 WDSF European DanceSport Competition in Latin dance, which took place in Krasnodar, Russia, in April. The 600 square meters of custom-made, assembled flooring squares performed well under the feet of over 80 pairs representing more than 30 countries.
Coswick Portable Dance & Events Floors are multipurpose wood floors, designed to serve as floor coverings for special occasions, such as dance competitions, athletic tournaments, presentations, concerts, performances, and other events that call for a festive or high-end décor.
“The new flooring line is perfect for community centers and public spaces that are occasionally used for hosting gala events – festivals, fundraisers, pageants, dances, auctions, or other important events,” said Vladimir Ianovski, founder of Coswick Hardwood. “They can be assembled and taken apart within two to three hours, which makes them a natural choice for creating a festive décor when the time calls for it.”
Portable Dance & Events Flooring is assembled by laying and joining shock-absorbent wood flooring squares. Each square has the dimensions of 30 x 570 x 570mm, and is equipped with specially designed locks on all four sides. The locking system ensures simple assemblage and was created with unlimited use in mind.
Portable Dance & Events Floors are available with natural, unstained white oak top layer, birch plywood bottom layer, and are manufactured with factory-applied UV-cured Silk Oil finish. The floors are covered under one year manufacturer warranty. An average surface area of 300 square meters of Portable Dance & Events Flooring can be assembled in as quickly as two to three hours.
In North America, the new flooring line is available for custom order, and requires eight to 10 weeks for manufacture and delivery. Orders and pricing are calculated based on the minimum area of 300 square meters (15 x 20 meters). Each standard order comes complete with 300 square meters of flooring, 70 meters of matching corner molding, 10 liters of Coswick hardwood flooring care and cleaning solution, as well as six transportation and storage kits with protective covers.
