Salem, N.H. – nora systems announces the promotion of Mike Sage to the position of vice president of sales, North America. In his new role, Sage will manage the sales efforts in the United States, Canada and Mexico, including responsibility for more than 40 sales associates.

“Mike brings a wealth of experience to his new position, much of it gained in a career at nora that spans more than 13 years,” noted Andreas Mueller, president and CEO of nora and managing director of German-based nora systems GmbH. “As national sales manager, Mike contributed significantly to the company’s double digit growth in sales and the success we have experienced in recent years. We are excited to channel his proven leadership skills and extensive product knowledge in new directions to ensure the continued growth and success of nora in North America.”

Sage joined nora in 2000 as market segment manager for transportation. He was later promoted to western regional manager before accepting his most recent role as national sales manager. In his new position, Sage will report to Mueller.

“I could not be more excited to take on an expanded role at nora,” said Sage. “The opportunity to lead such a talented sales team and develop new sales strategies that bring value to the people who use our products is one I look forward to pursuing.”

Sage earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and has participated in the Executive Education program at Harvard Business School.
