Calhoun, Ga.—Durkan and designer Esther Dunbar-Cullum have announced the unveiling of the Dolce collection. Launching at the 2013 HD Americas show in Miami, Dolce is the second collection to be released in 2013 from Durkan’s recently renewed partnership with Esther Dunbar-Cullum.
Drawing its inspiration from a selection of beautiful fabrics from Venice, Istanbul and Mumbai, Dolce features elements blown up to dramatic proportions and decadently textured for maximum effect. Esther Dunbar-Cullum uses reds, bronzes, golds and twilight blues, illuminated with clear yellow-gold, to punctuate the gorgeous imagery of old and making it modern, strong and new.
