Manchester, N.H.—Carpet One Floor & Home and Mohawk Industries said they have formed a new partnership with the Building for America’s Bravest program.
Building for America’s Bravest is a program of The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, in partnership with the Gary Sinise Foundation, which was developed to build smart homes for catastrophically injured service members.

The Smart Homes built by Building for America’s Bravest are custom designed to fit the needs of each individual. The goal of each new home is to help severely injured heroes live better, more independent lives. The homes are designed to be energy efficient, automated and easily accessible.

Carpet One Floor & Home and Mohawk will donate flooring and installation for each smart home built in the program. Currently there are 49 new homes scheduled over the next three years.
