Agawam, Mass.—Süddekor LLC, one of the world’s largest décor printers and impregnators, has been acquired by the Surteco Group of Germany, one of the world’s specialists for surface technologies. 
Süddekor LLC is a subsidiary of the international 2D-Group based in Laichingen, Germany, with two locations in Agawam and East Longmeadow, Mass.



Surteco will acquire all shares of Süddekor Group companies. Süddekor also operates sites in Germany and Russia.

Joe Hoelzer, president/CEO of Süddekor LLC, said the agreement will strengthen the company’s international position. 
“With this purchase, Süddekor now belongs to a strong corporate group, and the acquisition will serve to expand Surteco’s product portfolio.”

Süddekor said it is currently the only company to offer North American laminate manufacturers a complete design service, from scanning and separations to cylinder engraving, printing and treating.
